Also, raise a glass to Fiat reliability. It has been with us (me) for 5 days now, so may it stay forever more!

(I thought you guys may be impressed by my 5 day combo)

Either, you’re a magician, or you’re lying. Also, my Toyota has run for 6,206 days without anything but regular maintenance.

Pffft. My Fiat has ran fro about that much (1999 to 2016) with nothing but regular and irregular maintenance (as in repairs). Also, one full ‘frame off’ restoration...

You have that all switched around - your Fiat has not broken YOU for 5 days. Bring on day 6.

Yes. But all mine has needed is stuff like fresh oil and new air filters (and new valve covers because the old ones were cracked. But the car still ran fine)

I’ve had mine for a year and a half and all it’s needed was:

- engine rebuild (incl. new valve covers)

- new suspension

- full new brake system

- interior restoratin

- bodywork restoration

- electrics overhaul

- fresh oil

- new air filters

- loads more things

Have you reached that point where the repairs cost as much as what you paid for the car?

That was about a month into the restoration that lasted 5 months.

How much has your Toyota cost you all-told? :) Parts/labour for the 126 are SUPER cheap in Poland, haha!
